ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
Sometimes we just need someone
to help us hear ourselves clearly again.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR
You already know something needs to shift.
I'm a certified life coach. I will soon publish my second book — Change Your Story, One Thought at a Time — built entirely around the practice of becoming a compassionate observer of your own mind.
You're in a transition (career, relationship, identity) and don't have anyone neutral to think out loud with.
You've read the books, done the journaling, listened to the podcasts — and you still can't quite move.
Your inner voice is louder than it used to be, and meaner.
You sense there's a bigger life waiting — but you can't see the next step.
You're a creative who keeps almost finishing the thing.
You don't need fixing. You need a companion — and a few honest questions.
WHAT CHANGES
What you'll walk away with
Clarity
You'll see the real challenge — and the real story you've been telling about it — with new eyes.
A kinder inner voice
Practical tools for observing your thoughts instead of being run by them.
Real movement
Concrete next steps you actually take — not another list of intentions you don't.
WHY WORK WITH ME
I've spent 10+ years studying the inner life — and written a book about it.
I'm a certified life coach and the author of Getting Naked Later, a memoir-meets-manifesto on honesty, longing and becoming. I'm currently finishing a second book — Change Your Story, One Thought at a Time — built entirely around the practice of becoming a compassionate observer of your own mind.
That's not a side topic for me. It's the work I've been doing in my own life for decades, the work I've researched, and the work I now get to share with clients one-on-one through deep listening, honest questions, and real next steps.

QUESTIONS
Good things to ask
Is this therapy?
+
No. Coaching is forward-facing. We work with what's true right now and where you want to go. If something comes up that needs a therapist, I'll say so.
Do you work with people outside Asheville?
+
Yes — most of my clients are over Zoom or phone, all over the U.S. and beyond. In-person sessions are available if you're local.
How long do people usually work with you?
+
Some come for a single season of clarity (4–6 sessions), others stay for a year or more. We figure out the right rhythm together.
What if I can't afford the standard rate?
+
Say so. I keep pricing sliding for this reason. The work matters more than the number.
I'm not sure I'm 'coachable.' Should I still book the consult?
+
Yes. The consult is exactly for that. No pressure. If we're not a fit, I'll tell you and often I can point you somewhere better.
READY?
Let's have the real conversation.
The first 30 minutes of coaching are on me. Email or text — whichever feels easier — and we'll find a time. No pressure, no pitch.
