LIVE FROM JULIAN
Live From The Julian Project
On June 7–10, 2019, about a dozen musicians gathered in Julian, CA to record a live album. Many of us had never met before, but we felt like instant family. We ate together, practiced together, wept together, laughed together, slept under the same roof, and most importantly, made music together.
We recorded 13 songs in 2 full days and 2 half days. It was grueling and exhilarating at the same time. All the songs were Kate Hurley originals, but putting the two-dimensional words into the hands of these amazing artists brought sinew and life to every one.
